Jubilee Justice The farm
Our 17-acre farm at Inglewood Farm in Alexandria, LA, while previously certified organic, is now certified under Jubilee Justice (2024).
We draw inspiration from Afro-Indigenous farming techniques that have informed today’s regenerative agriculture movement. Some of our methods include minimal soil disturbance, crop rotation with cover crops, the use of on-farm inputs such as biochar and vermicompost, and seasonal cover crops.

In addition to over six acres of rice, we grow diverse organic vegetables on three acres, including in our high tunnels.
We're a Agricultural Lab
We actively experiment with specialty crops—sesame, moringa, indigo, hibiscus, various corn and wheat types, and numerous rice varieties—alongside trials of different planting techniques. These include plant spacing, mulching, no-till methods, and the use of advanced OMRI inputs, all focused on improving yields, soil fertility, and integrated pest management (IPM).
