UCC JubileeJustice-Sponsored Resolutions
One of our central missions is to keep issues of faith and justice at the center of the life of the church and one of the ways we have done that has been to sponsor resolutions at the Conference and Synod gatherings of the United Church of Christ. The Jubilee Justice Task Force began as a resolution at the annual meeting of the Massachusetts Conference of the UCC. Below is a complete list of all of the resolutions we have authored on economic justice issues since 1999.
- Resolution: "Call to Jubilee" Original resolution in support of the Jubilee 2000 movement (now Jubilee USA), that began the Massachusetts Conference's Jubilee Justice Task force.
- Resolution In Support of “Jubilee Congregations” and “Jubilee Sunday” within the United Church of Christ (MACUCC, 206th Annual Meeting, 2005)
- Resolution Calling the United Church of Christ to declare itself to be a “Fair Trade” Denomination (General Synod XXV, 2003)
